I come in with family and friends a lot, the guys there are very helpful and knowledgeable about surfing always giving great recommendations and feedback on what boards surfers should purchase. You can also Demo a surfboard to see if it’s the right model or size for you. They have a HUGE selection of surfboards. I ended up walking out twice with a new custom board, I HIGHLY recommend coming here to purchase new clothes, boards, etc. Definitely the best surf shop in San Diego.

Came In to look around and then remembered that I was running low on wax. I asked the guy how much his wax was and he said they were 2 bucks. Went to buy them and he said actually just have them as another guy didn’t want his. Such a nice thing to do!

Great shop. I will definitely visit this shop again when I have chance to visit San Diego. I visited from oversea and asked them to reserve the surfboard before I visited them. They replied to me and really reserved until I visited them. So impressed. In the end I got the other one, but really happy to get what I wanted to get.

This is the best surf shop you can find out there! The staff is super professional, they have everything you need and their prices are more than fair. Also great for beginners because they allow you to rent surfboards and fins and the money you pay for the renting gets credited on a gift card you can use later in the shop to buy anything you need, so no money lost. Worth the short drive inland.

Great local surf shop with workers that actually surf and can help you with a board, wetsuit or whatever. Stay away from the coastal shops and come here instead. They also have a great used board selection (follow on instagram for updates) and a selection of demos too.

This is one of my favorite surf shops. They are always really friendly and helpful. Rather than buy online this is the spot I spend locally for. Don't be afraid to ask for help finding anything. The staff is very knowledgeable. Local Tip: They have the best black Friday and other sales of you sign up to get their flyers.

My favorite surf shop in San Diego, everyone is very helpful and honest and have the fairest prices (and if you get the membership even cheaper and totally worth it in my opinion). Most of the other surf shops in SD are great to but personally this is my first stop.
